The COVID-19 pandemic has affected a lot in show business. This includes DC’s Doom Patrol. The whacky and delightful series is currently in its second season. While episode five just dropped on DC Universe and HBOMax, one actor on the show says that this season will be one episode short. Due to the epidemic that has pretty much halted the entire world.

Abigail Shapiro plays Dorothy Spinner – the Chief’s daughter. In an interview, Shapiro talked about filming the second season:

“It was basically all finished. There was going to be one more episode and we only had a couple of scenes left, but we never got to finish that episode.”

    She added:

“So, I don’t know if that episode is ever going to air or anything. I don’t know much about what’s happening.”

    Shapiro then said:

“We have [episodes] one through nine, which is basically the whole season. We got basically everything done, which I’m very grateful for.”

Season one contained 15 episodes, so I am truly sad to hear we are only four episodes away from the end of the season. Hopefully, there will be a third season which can shoot in its entirety – without interruptions.
