[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”3825″ img_size=”1024×720″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]For any fans of Dove Cameron, you have to check out her new single Born Ready, produced by Walt Disney Records and Marvel Music. The young actress is known for her roles in Disney originals such as Liv and Maddie, the Descendants 1, 2, & 3, and will be lending her voice as Ghost Spider aka Spider-Gwen in the animated Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors. This upcoming film will bring together teens with special powers, such as Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake, Patriot, America Chavez, and Inferno. They’ll have to learn to work together to defeat an unforeseeable threat, which you can watch on the Disney Channel and Disney XD on Sunday, September 30th.

Cameron’s single Born Ready will be the theme song to Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors and is available for download and on a streaming service. Cameron had previously voiced Spider-Gwen in Marvel Rising: Initiation which was a series of six animated shorts that you can watch here.

Cort Lane, Marvel’s Senior Vice President of Animation and Family Entertainment, recalls getting “chills” when she and her team first heard the single, which you can also watch the featurette to.

“When we heard ‘Born Ready’ for the first time, it gave our animation team chills. It had all the swagger, friendship and heroic aspirations of the Marvel Rising characters. Dove’s fierceness and talent embodies everything the song is about, and her amazing performance made ‘Born Ready’ something very special.”

Born Ready is perfect song to really set the tone of Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, which stars Chloe Bennet as Quake, Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Kathreen Khavari as Ms. Marvel, Kamil McFadden as Patriot, Tyler Posey as Inferno, BooBoo Stewart as Exile, Cierra Ramirez as America Chavez, Kim Raver as Captain Marvel, Ming-Na Wen as Hala, and Dee Bradley Baker as Tippy Toe & Lockjaw.

Please keep an eye out on September 30th, when Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors will premiere on the Disney Channel and Disney XD.
