Elisabeth Moss Cast In Making of ‘THE GODFATHER’

Elisabeth Moss is getting work at a premium pace it seems and the award winning actress has signed on to play Eleanor Coppola in Barry Levinson’s making of The Godfather.  Eleanor is the wife of director Francis Ford Coppola.  Moss joins Oscar Isaac who will play her husband, Francis. Jake Gyllenhaal has also been cast as Robert Evans.

Here is what Levinson had to say about working with Moss

“I’ve wanted to work with her for a long time, I couldn’t be more excited about her joining the film.  Every performance of Elisabeth’s is nothing short of exceptional.”

Moss is set to return for another season of The Handmaid’s Tale and she will stars in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch.

How do you feel about this casting news? Are you a fan of The Godfather?
