Jake Gyllenhaal will reprise his role as Mysterio in Spider-Man 3. The talented actor did a phenomenal job as the well-known comic book villain in Spider-Man: Far From Home. He did supposedly die at the end of the film, but his character’s last act in life was revealing the identity of Peter Parker to the world. On top of accusing him of murder. There’s no telling if Gyllenhaal’s appearance in Spider-Man 3 will simply be flashbacks or hallucinations, but Gyllenhaal makes his return in a packed movie.
Fandom Wire has even more information for eager fans. Dane DeHaan is in talks to reprise his role as Harry Osborn from the Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Fandom Wire also states that Jacob Batalon, who normally plays Tom Holland’s Peter Parker’s bff Ned Leeds…will actually be a villain in Spider-Man 3. What!? Is this our loveable Ned or a multiverse version of Ned? I can’t imagine the pain Peter will have to deal with battling against his best friend.
These are some hot takes and time will tell if they’re true. But, this still excites me because Spider-Man 3 becomes more and more interesting by the day. What do you think of all of the actors reported to return?
