Spider-Man 3 is going to contain a plethora of characters from the past. While this excites me, some are worried that all of these characters may overshadow Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. While some people, like myself; have surmised that all of these characters may play a very minor role in Spider-Man 3, insider KC Walsh had a different answer. In fact, in response to a ComicBook.com question that asked if these Spider-Man cameos were just glances, Walsh responded “they’re not”.
Walsh went on to say that characters like Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy, and Daredevil will “at least have moments”. Walsh also went on to add that the reason these villains will be played by their original actors is so the audience doesn’t:
“Need to spend a lot of time with them to know their motivations.”
It isn’t known who will be the main villain of the movie. Or how all of these characters will come to be. But, it will probably drive the plot of the film, as well as be the reason why Andrew Garfield (and possibly Tobey Maquire)’s version of Peter Parker must team up with Holland’s.
Either way, I’m excited!
