[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8467″ img_size=”800×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Avengers: Infinity War ripped out our hearts and left us with the daunting realization that we had a year to wait to find out if we were ever going to see our favorite superheroes again. Avengers 4, which has yet to release an official title; is seven months away and stars Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston recently spoke at this past weekend’s ACE Comic Con in Chicago. Answering fans’ questions, it seems that the heartbreak is only going to get worse, according to the Scarlet Witch actress.
“It’s only going to get worse,” Olsen said in regards to Wanda Maximoff’s journey in season four.
If you remember, Wanda not only had to deal with the horrifying task of killing the love of her life, Vision; to stop Thanos, but then she had to witness the titan use the stones to reverse her efforts, only for him to kill Paul Bettany’s character again. Then, Scarlet Witch disappeared along with many others after the snap, but we see that it isn’t even something that affects her, as she’s still in despair over losing yet another person who was close to her.
Olsen also went on to reveal that the end of Infinity War had been a secret withheld from the cast, until the very end:
“I found out from the Russos exactly what was going to happen, and it wasn’t until we shot it on that day we learned what the ending was,” said Olsen. “They took us into a van – all of us – we were in a van with air conditioning because it was very hot, and they told us how the movie was going to end, and no one knew. And they were like ‘Now we’re shooting it, Go!’ and we were like ‘How are we supposed to interpret that?’”
I can’t imagine being told that. The shock and awe that the actors conveyed certainly got the message across and fans are still trying to recover from the snap. I can only hope that as things get worse for Wanda that they eventually get better, as Scarlet Witch has already been through so much.
Avengers 4 hits theaters May 3, 2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
