While fans may have to wait a while longer For another appearance of DC’s Titans, there is some news that should salve the open wound until that time. It was exclusively reported by Superbrosmovies that Donald “Don” Hall, the original Dove, will be making an appearance on the show portrayed by Life Sentence actor Elliot Knight.
Knight’s role of Don Hall will only appear in flashbacks at this point. He will be the brother to Alan Ritchson’s Hank Hall. His presence cannot help but add depth to the present day Hawk and Dove storyline. As things stand, it’s extremely likely that Don will meet his untimely end before the start of the series, thus leading to another person taking on the mantle. The present-day Dove, Dawn Granger, will be portrayed by Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly.
Knight has appeared in shows like Once Upon A Time and How To Get Away with Murder, as well as the aforementioned Life Sentence. While it is not clear whether his role as Don Hall extends beyond the first season of Titans, it is apparent that his presence will be felt in Hawk and Dove’s journey.
For those unfamiliar with the history, Don Hall was the original Dove and brother to Hank Hall aka Hawk. They were the original “Hawk & Dove” duo until Don met his untimely demise during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. This led to Dawn Granger eventually picking up the mantle and becoming the Dove most fans are familiar with.
