One of the songs he performed was “I’m Still Standing,” by Elton John and he did a great cover for it. Thus it made sense (to me anyway) for them to peg Egerton to play the music icon when a movie was in the works.
While the movie doesn’t come out until next summer, Paramount Pictures has released its first footage from the upcoming Sir Elton John biopic, Rocketman this morning:
