Scanlan will be playing the big bad. The character will be recurring throughout the latest season and is described as a “ruthless bounty hunter who murdered his entire species.” While people frequently fancast Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the villain in the DCEU, Scanlan will be the motorcycle riding, cigar smoking baddie in the pre-Superman centered show.
Scanlan has been in projects such as Guardians of the Galaxy, CW’s Constantine, The Fall, and Safe. Being added to the popular series as the big bad will surely give Scanlan more notoriety and open a lot of doors for the actors. We’re not sure how Lobo will be integrated into Krypton, but we can all keep an eye out for the second season, which will premiere sometime in 2019.
