iZombie has featured some hilarious renditions of Liv’s character due to the brains she’s eaten, most been on the nose with pop culture and current events. As we prepare for the fifth and unfortunately final season, it looks like we’re getting a look at one of the brains our heroine has consumed. And it seems like she is not alone.
In the third episode of the fifth season, titled “Five, Six, Seven, Ate!” Liv and Ravi have clearly consumed the brains of competitive dancers. Series creator Rob Thomas commented further:
“Liv is on the brain of a codependent dancer and she ropes Ravi into going undercover to compete for a chance to escape the walled city of Seattle… in a nationally televised dance show.”
“They are investigating the murder of the couple expected to win [the competition] before their untimely demise.”
The following photo was exclusively provided by TVLine and from the looks of it, the final season is putting out all the stops for their brains. Additionally, Bryce Hodgson, who has always been a scene stealer; is promoted to series regular, and NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar joins as zombie city council member Zed.
iZombie season five will pick up in the spring of 2019.
