With Chris Evans twitter announcement thanking the fans and everyone at Marvel for their support as he wrapped his filming for Avengers 4 , it seems more likely than ever that we may have seen the last of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. As all comic fans know, every vacuum needs something to fill it. In the Civil War comic, Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier filled that void. At ArtStation, a fan named Ivan Dedov shared his take on what the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Bucky, Sebastian Stan would look like as Captain America. I have to admit, Stan makes for a nice looking Cap, and it would certainly be fitting that he take over for the man he has shared a 70 years friendship with…if you add on all the frozen over years for both of them.
I’ve got to say Ivan, I approve. I hate to see Chris Evans Captain America go but if they keep most of the traditional look I believe Sebastian Stan could rock it pretty successfully.
