Giancarlo Esposito’s role in the upcoming Far Cry 6 has been confirmed due to a PlayStation Store Hong Kong listing.
According to this leak, Esposito will play the game’s villain. Even better yet, the release date could be February 18, 2021. And, according to this leak, the game may receive a free PS4-PS5 upgrade. Pretty cool, right?
IGN has pointed out that the game will take place on the island of Yara. Which, is describes not only as “the largest Far Cry playground to date” but also “a tropical paradise frozen in time”.
Esposito’s character will be called Anton Castillo and he is the dictator of Yara. The young person in the photo below is his son, Diego. Who is seemingly “following in his [father’s] bloody footsteps”.

The main character of Far Cry 6 will be a local Yaran, Dani Rojas. Dani is a guerilla soldier who is fighting to freedom.
