[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”17352″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Now that Netflix has decided to cancel all of their Marvel shows, the actors in these series are going to have to look to new projects. One star, Iron Fist’s Finn Jones; has now landed in another lead role for Fox’s upcoming thriller drama Prodigal Son. Jones will portray a criminal psychologist named Malcolm Bright. The thing that makes Bright unique is that his father was a serial killer, giving Bright the ability to look at cases differently.
Bright’s father will be played by Michael Sheen, as his mother will be played by Bellamy Young. The series is being described as “darkly comedic” and should it has a successful pilot episode, it will be ordered to have a full season.
As far as the Iron Fist cancellation, Jones has expressed that it was a shame:
“It’s just a shame that the show gets canceled right when Danny reaches his peak,” the actor reflected. “It feels like the journey is incomplete.”
Though everyone has their opinions of Iron Fist, I had to agree. Iron Fist and Luke Cage were left completely open-ended and we aren’t sure if we’ll ever have a conclusion to that story.
