Former James Bond Director Danny Boyle Thinks Robert Pattinson Should be Next 007

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”24965″ img_size=”800×449″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Danny Boyle had formally been attached to direct the upcoming Bond 25 film. He’s no longer involved with the project, but he has an opinion as to who should next play the iconic James Bond character. Daniel Craig still has the 25th film to do, though an injury might have delayed the movie. Who will play 007 when Craig retires from the role? Boyle believes it should be the actor who just was announced as donning another classic role, Robert Pattinson. The young actor will play Batman in Matt Reeves The Batman, but Boyle believes he has the makings of Bond, James Bond.

“Oh my God, they should get him to be the next Bond. Isn’t Pattinson a bit too young for the role?” Boyle said. “He must be in his 30s. How old was Connery? He’s ready now.”

Boyle’s film Yesterday imagines a world without the musical band The Beatles, which comes out June 28.  Matt Reeves has his Batman with Pattinson and now we need his rogue’s gallery. With the role of Bruce Wayne, Pattinson will most likely not be known as just the actor in the Twilight Series. This means more roles and more opportunity to become a household name. Could this be the way he becomes the next James Bond? What do you think?
