[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”26772″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The CW’s next huge crossover will be Crisis on Infinite Earths. During the Batwoman panel at SDCC, a new character was revealed to step to the stage of this massive event.
Burt Ward played Robin in the 1960s Batman TV series and will be joining this crossover event to play a role. The role is unknown for now, but this is within the line of legacy casting in the Arrowverse. We’ve had Lynda Carter, Dean Cain, and Helen Slater, now we have Ward. Maybe this will be another version of Robin, since we’ve had Mark Hamill reprise his role as The Trickster and John Wesley-Shipp as The Flash.
Previously, Ward has voiced Robin in several animated movies and he’s stated in 2016 that he wouldn’t mind acting in the live-action space:
“Of course! I’m an actor and I love doing everything to do with Batman. I love doing other projects as well. I’ve done forty movies for television. You know, it’s a wonderful thing; Gotham is a great show. And all I can tell you is that I would be happy to do it; I’d be happy to any kind of project. I love to work!”
As we find out more about Ward’s character we will let you know!
