We were told that Home Alone would get a reboot. Now, we have more details on this remake of a classic from Observer.

According to Observer, Home Alone the reboot will showcase a husband and wife going to war with a young boy named Max who has stolen from them. Max is energetic and witty; all-around a mischievous little nine-year-old. He can converse easily with adults, while being able to push their buttons. It should be noted that he will display similar innocence and have a kind heart like his predecessor.

While sources tell Observer that the studio is looking for a big name for the female lead, Fox declined to comment. There are talked that Dan Mazer may direct from a script that was co-written by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidel.

What do you think about these details?
