Frank Grillo Joining The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is the sequel to The Hitman’s Bodyguard, which starred Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. Both will be returning, along with Salma Hayek. Now joining the team is Captain America: The Winter Soldier (and two of the Purge movies) actor Frank Grillo, who is playing an Interpol agent who will need the aforementioned actors to prevent a cyber attack in Europe.

Patrick Hughes will be returning to direct the sequel, which is written by Tom O’Connor. This sequel will follow Michael Bryce (Reynolds) who is enlisted by Jackson and Hayek in the Amalfi Coast for a mission. Production for the sequel should begin in March.
