With the announcement that Hulu will be bringing in a live-action Ghost Rider series, fans are wondering all sorts of things when it comes to this shocking, but exciting news. We’ve already seen a Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD; Gabriel Luna portrayed Robbie Reyes in the cable show; but will these Hulu Marvel shows be connected to the MCU like AOS was? It was already confirmed that rather than Johnny Blaze’s version of the character that Reyes would be indeed the one utilized, so will we see Luna’s return, which was highly praised during his character arc on AOS. Variety has also confirmed this morning that Luna will indeed return as Ghost Rider.
There are some slight teasing from the actor himself, who tweeted before Hulu made the announcement:
Chains a’ rattlin’…

Luna seems to be excited about the news, but that doesn’t mean he’s confirming that he’s returning. If he does reprise his role, this could be a subtle hint that these Hulu shows will hold some sort of continuity within the vast MCU that has essentially stretched across the big screen, cable networks, and streaming services.
