Death on the Nile is Fox’s follow-up film to Murder on the Orient Express. It seems now that Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot is officially in negotiations for the film. As a surprise hit, Murder on the Orient Express’s sequel will see the return of director Kenneth Branagh and is expected to reprise his role as Hercule Poirot.
First published in 1937, Death on the Nile is about Poirot on a vacation in Egypt and soon becomes involved in a murderous love triangle. This will be an interesting sequel that could see Gadot playing elite socialite Linnet Doyle, who is recently married to the former fiancée of a past friend.
While we wait to see if everything goes to plan, you can expect Gadot in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 film.
