Gal Gadot Joins ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”2259″ img_size=”1542×646″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]In an exclusive report, we at Geek Vibes Nation have just found out that Gal Gadot, Wonder Women herself; will be joining John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman in the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, Ralph Breaks the Internet. In this sequel to the highly acclaimed animated film, Gadot will be playing Shank, a tough and talented driver in an intense and gritty online racing game called Slaughter Race. Ralph (Reilly) and Vanellope (Silverman) will run into Shank on their way through the internet to find a replacement for Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush.

Considering how fun the first film was and being able to see all of the different games and worlds, this sounds fun. In the first film, we had a tough female video game warrior Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun, the lead character of Hero’s Duty, voiced by Jane Lynch. Considering Gadot’s wild popularity surged after her first debut as Wonder Woman, it’s definitely a draw-in to have her join this project. In regards to her character, Gadot had this to say:

“Shank is amazing at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her. But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her.”

Director Rich Moore also had this to say:

“She is the coolest character in this world of Slaughter Race. Shank’s lived a lot, she’s seen a lot, yet she’s got nothing but kindness in her heart—that’s the duality of that character.”

Shank is already sounding like an awesome character. In regards to why they wanted to bring a character like Shank in, director/writer Phil Johnston stated:

“If Ralph is Vanellope’s big-brother figure, we wanted a big-sister figure. We wanted someone that Vanellope would look up to, and Gal is definitely someone kids—and a lot of adults I know—aspire to emulate. I can’t imagine anyone else embodying that part.”

Ralph Breaks the Internet will break records on November 21, 2018!
