As we prepare for Gal Gadot to return as Diana Prince for Wonder woman 1984, we take a look back at some of the bigger DC news that took over the news this year. Such as Ray Fisher coming out against director Joss Whedon’s behavior on set during 2017’s Justice League. Many actors have rallied in support for Fisher and an investigation has been done.
In a recent interview for Wonder Woman 1984, Gadot revealed her own feelings about the Whedon situation:
“I’m happy for Ray to go out and speak his truth. I wasn’t there with the guys when they shot with Joss Whedon — I had my own experience with [him], which wasn’t the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I’m happy for Ray to go up and say his truth.”
Are you surprised to hear that Gadot’s experience with Whedon was also negative? And that the higher ups at DC took care of it as opposed to taking care of Fisher’s case beforehand? Let us know!
