So what do you do when you have a moment away from fighting mystical beings, seeing old flames being brought back to you, and basically being Wonder Woman? You take a quick side trip to Springfield and visit the Simpsons. At least that is what Gal Godot did as she will be making an appearance on the Season 30 premier of The Simpson’s which will be airing tonight.
In this case, she will be attempting to play another strong female character in Lisa Simpson. This all comes about due to something Bart does. As explained in the synopsis for the episode called, “Bart’s not Dead.”
Bart takes a dare, and ends up in the hospital. To cover for himself and Homer, he says he went to Heaven and met Jesus. Christian producers offer the Simpsons a movie deal, which Homer takes. But Bart can’t deal with the guilt and comes clean to Marge after the movie is finished.
As for Gadot, she auditions in the episode to play the role of Lisa, in the movie. She talks about it in this Twitter post where she shared a look at a design sheet for the Simpsons universe version of her.
This family was a huge part of my childhood. And now it's so cool that I get to be apart of the Simpsons' Season 30 premiere episode 😱🙆♀️ Airing tonight!…. pic.twitter.com/3XwmHLhiAy

As seen in a previous released clip, being Wonder Woman doesn’t protect you from listening to Homer throw in a dig at DC Films. When Homer asked Gal Gadot what other films she has been in besides “Fast and Furious,” she asked if he had seen Wonder Woman. Homer replied that whenever he sees the DC logo, he immediately falls asleep. OUCH!
Are you long time Simpson’s fans (and after 30 seasons, aren’t we all) looking forward to another visit to Springfield and the Simpson’s? Do you share Homer’s take on DC Films or is that all changing with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984? Share your thoughts about the new season with us at GVNation.
