Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon Reveals The Most Difficult Ramsay Scene He Filmed

Joffrey was a bad guy in Game of Thrones. Euron tried to be a bad guy in the show. No one, though; can hold a candle to Ramsay Bolton. The despicable character who enjoyed flaying people alive and castrated Theon is at the top of the top of the villain’s list. For all of the bad things Ramsay has done, actor Iwan Rheon expresses that the Sansa/Ramsay wedding night scene was the most difficult he’s ever filmed:

“That was horrible. Nobody wanted to be there. Nobody wants to do that, but if it’s telling a story then you have to tell it truthfully. They didn’t sensationalize it or anything. It was very, very hard watching. It’s a horrible thing that happens, unfortunately, and it shouldn’t be. It was the worst day of my career. Chopping someone’s finger off you don’t really see it, and when you’re doing like a close up, it’s a piece of plastic. We’re just acting, it’s not real. Then something like that where you’re in the actual reality of the situation is very difficult to deal with. It was a horrible, horrible day.”

Ramsay’s character arc ended when he was ripped apart by the very dogs he set upon other victims before. It was very poetic. What did you think of Ramsay’s character and the wedding night between him and Sophie Turner’s Sansa?
