This was unfortunately the case with HBO’s Game of Thrones. Seven seasons of great response was tarnished by what fans and critics felt was a rushed and poorly written ending. In fact, petitions were written to have the entire final season re-done.
While this is not going to happen, Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju revealed earlier this month that the series filmed an alternate ending to its final season. Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane, spoke to Metro about it recently.
Well, we shot an alternative ending, That was mostly for fun but I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you about that.
Even the possibility of a different ending is enough to get some attention. Especially for those who still haven’t gotten over the official conclusion to the series.
