Get Out 2 Isn’t Something You Should Expect Anytime Soon

‘Get Out’ was one of the most talked-about movie of 2017. Jordan Peele’s directorial debut film has been hailed as redefining the horror movie genre. Same With A Quiet Place. Since A Quiet Place is getting a sequel, fans have to wonder if the same goes for Get Out. There was even a moment in 2018 where Jason Blum teased that Peele was considering doing a sequel.

Now, though; Jason of Blumhouse Productions is saying that a sequel may not be in the cards:

“That was wishful thinking. I think that was taken out of context. I think what I said and what I would still say is, I would love to make a Get Out sequel but we would only do it if Jordan wanted to do it and as far as I know, he has no intention of doing that.”

Peele has been really busy and sometimes, a movie should just stand on its own. Get Out was a great achievement and it’s a movie that continues to be dissected. With that in mind, it’s not a bad thing if Peele and Blumhouse decide not to do a Get Out 2. Peele has plenty of other amazing stories to tell and there’s no shortage of awesome content from Blumhouse.
