    GKIDS & Shout! Studios To Release Season 2 Of The Hit Anime Series ‘Dan Da Dan’ On Blu-Ray This July

    GKIDS & Shout! Studios will release one of the most wildly popular anime series in the world, Dan Da Dan: Season Two on Blu-Ray and Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray on July 14, 2026. Packed with exclusive bonus features, the Collector’s Edition release offers fans the ultimate edition to bring home. The set includes all 12 episodes of Season Two, as well as a 76-page book and sticker sheets. A standard Blu-ray release of Dan Da Dan Season Two will be released the same day, and the season is currently available for purchase on major digital platforms.

    Based on the hit manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, Dan Da Dan is an electrifying, action-packed love letter to sci-fi and horror with the heart of a ruthlessly funny teen rom-com. In Season 2, co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora bring fans a new story in the latest series from cutting-edge animation studio Science SARU (The Colors Within, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) with pulse-pounding original music from kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man).     Synopsis: The battle of the occult rages on in Dan Da Dan Season Two! Momo and Okarun set out on their latest adventure, traveling to a hot springs town with Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend and former crush, with the goal of solving the mystery surrounding his family and the house they rented there. When they arrive, strange locals derail their investigation before it can properly begin, and the group soon learns there’s more lurking under the surface of the town than they could have possibly imagined.
