‘Halo’ TV Series Finds its Cortana and Five Other Actors

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27558″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Showtime is developing a series based on the popular video game franchise Halo. Pablo Schreiber from American Gods and Orange is the New Black will be playing Master Chief.

Joining him will be Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac and Kate Kennedy. This is big news because McElhone will play two roles. One is Dr. Catherine Halsey, the other is Cortana. As a Halo fan, you know the importance and significance of Cortana.

Woodbine will play Soren-off, who is a “morally complex privateer”. Azmi will play Admiral Margaret Parangosky.

Kalu, Culzac, and Kennedy will play characters who are new to the Halo Universe. Kalu will play a Spartan named Vannak-134, who is a cybernetically enhanced soldier. Culzac will be Spartan Riz-028, who is a cybernetically augmented “killing machine”. Kenney’s Spartan Kai-125 is described as courageous and curious, while also being deadly.

Halo will have nine episodes and is being described as the “most ambitious series ever” on the network.
