Video Quality
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts comes to Blu-Ray from Warner Bros. with a stellar high definition master which presents this special exactly as intended. This journey consists primarily of newer interviews along with older behind-the-scenes clips and pictures to help round out the creation of these films. The single-person interview and group reunion segments look incredibly crisp and clear with natural skin tones and some immensely detailed facial features. Returning to many of these old sets is a tremendous bit of fun, and they present with a stellar amount of detail. The older footage seems to be derived from the most stable sources possible, even if some of them are not up to typical HD standards. The colors featured in the footage have a healthy vibrancy to them. The transfer does not feature anything in the way of compression artifacts or digital nuisances of the sort. It is a treat to have this in HD as it deserves.
Audio Quality
This Blu-Ray disc comes with a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio track that captures every aspect of this track perfectly. From the very beginning, you are greeted to the classic sounds of the iconic score which flows through the room with a natural fidelity. The surround sound presentation makes you feel as if you are back in the wizarding world as the environment springs to life. This is largely an interview and conversation showcase with a plentiful amount of talking heads to complement the candid footage of these people reuniting and vintage clips. Dialogue is the focus right up front in the center channel as you get these anecdotes relayed in a controlled environment. There were no digital anomalies or other issues spotted. This track delivers in every way you would want. There are optional English subtitles provided.

Final Thoughts
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts is a really heartwarming treat for longtime fans of this film franchise. This property is far larger than any one individual person, and seeing the care that was taken to bring so many of these tremendous talents back into the fold was welcome. The structure of the presentation works really well for the most part, as the smaller groups allow some of the tertiary characters to still have moments to make an impression outside of the shadow of more prominent figures. There is something special about this franchise for many, and this special allows you an extra bit of magic to enjoy. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a Blu-Ray featuring a great A/V presentation and a brief supplemental feature. If you are a hardcore fan of the franchise, you already know this need to be in your collection. Recommended

Dillon is most comfortable sitting around in a theatre all day watching both big budget and independent movies.
