Has Sony Shelved Their Masters of the Universe Film?

Yesterday we reported on the upcoming He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse issue 4 and talked about all the exciting He-Man projects upcoming.  There are reports this morning that Sony has removed the Masters of the Universe film starring Noah Centineo from their calendar. No other date has been set, the film has just been completely removed.

Sony originally had it on the calendar for March 5, 2021 but that slot seems to have been filled with Tom Holland’s Uncharted. Another Sony film that continues to be plagued with issues.

Fans of MOTU have waited a long time for another He-Man film but it seems fans will have to wait a little longer. Hopefully Sony will update their calendar with a release date soon and this isn’t a sign that they have shelved the film completely.

Should Sony decided to delay the film indefinitely, fans always have the animated shows on Netflix to look forward to. Let us know what you think about this news. Have you given up on another He-Man movie? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
