Skepticism certainly rose when it was announced that Black Adam would not be appearing in Shazam! causing many to raise eyebrows at the decision to nix one of the most prevalent villains in the Shazam! world. But, we’re told that there is a script for a Black Adam solo movie, one which is now described by That Hashtag Show.

Adam Szytkiel turned in a script last month, which seems to be taking some cues from the Geoff Johns’s work from the early 2000’s, setting up a battle between such heavyweights as Hawkman. Apparently, the studio will be looking for an actor in between the ages of 30-39 to fill the role of Carter Hill, wanting someone who can go up against the Brahma Bull. From what we’re learning, the script also includes Atom Smasher and Stargirl, who have been depicted as lovers in the comics – the studio is looking for individuals in the 20-29 age range.

Producer Hiram Garcia, in 2018; assured fans that the script would not be “softened up”, indicating that Hawkman’s involvement will really push the boundaries of violence that can be shown in a superhero movie. We’ll have to see how things go, but as of now, Black Adam is supposed to begin production as of March of 2020. Are you looking forward to this movie? And how does Hawkman’s involvement make you feel?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
