In “The Last of the Starks”, during the feast scene; there seemed to be a modern-day to-go coffee cup right in front of Daenerys. You have to ask yourself, while they were all shooting this HBO series, how did no one notice it right in front of them?
With enough buzz being created on the internet, HBO released a cheeky statement:
“The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea.”
Tea would be more obvious for the time period, wouldn’t it? Maybe this was HBO’s way of promoting Starbucks to garner sponsorship. But, it should be laughed at that HBO decided to have some fun with their obvious slip-up.
