“The secrets of the DC Universe are hacked! Sanctuary wasn’t supposed to keep records, but now that the A.I. is compromised, superhero secrets are leaking all over the ’Net. Booster and Harley set aside their differences to focus on who they believe is the real killer (assuming one of them isn’t lying, that is). Meanwhile, Batman and the Flash continue to investigate the mysterious murderer. The answer can be found in Sanctuary…but is it safe to go digging in the crime scene?” – DC Comics

This issue of Heroes in Crisis didn’t really have that impact I thought it would have and that is a shame because I love Tom King’s work, The War of Jokes and Riddles, Bride or Burgler? The Rules of Engagement and so much more. Heroes in Crisis isn’t a bad story but I am putting Tom King on a higher pedestal because of the fantastic stories he does tell.

I love the partnership between Batgirl and Harley Quinn, Clark stressing over a speech while Lois is asking him to come to bed with her before he has to go save the day is one of the most adorable things in comics right now. Booster and Blue Beetle reuniting again also amazing.

Clay Mann and Tomeu Morey are masters at what they do, everything that has done is just pure brilliance and it shows in this issue of Heroes in Crisis.

Final Verdict!

The characters interactions between each other are on point, beautiful artwork but my main complaint it is not as strong of a story that I would have wanted to come from Tom King. I would wait for it to go on sale.
