As if it isn’t already fantastic enough that Andrew Scott will be joining the cast of His Dark Materials in season two, but Scott will be reunited with his Fleabag co-star. Scott revealed during Comic-Con@Home that Phoebe Waller-Bridge will play his daemon. A daemon on His Dark Materials is a magical animal companion.
Scott said:
“[Will be voice by] someone who is very close to me in my real life: a young performer and writer called Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The relationship [between human and dæmon] is all about companionship, friendship, and loyalty and that’s what I feel about Phoebe in my real life. So it’s wonderful that this is happening.”
Scott will be playing Will’s father, Colonel John Parry. Are you excited for His Dark Material Season 2?
