History Channel’s Vikings Will End After Sixth Season

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”12747″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]While the History Channel’s hit show Vikings is in the middle of the second half of its fifth season, fans will be both pleased that the show is getting a sixth season, but understandingly bummed out that that will be it. Yes, the show that started in 2013 with Ragnar Lothbrok will see its end after season six. There have been many characters that have come and gone and plenty of regulars to make the series as enjoyable as it is.

All good things must come to an end, though; season six will have 20 episodes for its swan song. There’s no word yet as to when this will premiere, but we will certainly keep you in the loop as far as that goes. There is also a chance that we could see a spinoff, as Vikings is so successful it would make sense for this to happen. After all, Game of Thrones is nearing its final season, but we already know that that won’t be the last we see of Westeros. History channel would certainly be missing out if they did not take this opportunity to keep the hype alive, as I am sure there will be many fans disappointed to hear that Vikings is ending.

Have you been keeping up with the second half of the fifth season? Let us know!
