Be prepared, Hollywood is bringing actors back from the dead.

According to a report, the filmmaking industry is bringing actor James Dean back through the power of CGI. Dean was best known for his roles in Rebel Without a Cause and East of Eden. The young star died in a car crash in 1955, but that’s apparently not slowing down his career.

Through CGI, Dean will star in Finding Jack, a Vietnam War drama. There will be a “lifelike” version of Dean’s likeness digitally constructed along with existing footage and photos. Dean’s voice will be dubbed by another actor. Why they don’t just get an actor that looks like James Dean? The world will never know.

But, hey, wherever Dean went, maybe he knows that this will be his fourth film and depending on how successfully it’s executed, maybe more actors will be brought back from the dead.

What do you think about this…interesting piece of news?
