HBO’s Watchmen series has been full speed ahead since its announcement. With that in mind, Deadline has reported that a new cast member has been selected to join the ever growing number of actors already on board. Hong Chau, who was seen recently in the film Downsizing as Ngoc Lan, has been brought on to play a yet as undetermined role.
She will be joining a cast that includes Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Andrew Howard among others. The series is being overseen by Damon Lindelof and is based on the iconic comic series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Lindelof wrote the pilot and executive produces along with Nicole Kassel who directed the pilot episode.
For you Watchmen fans, are you excited to see what HBO and Lindelof bring to the table for your show? Will it compare favorably with the 2009 Zac Snyder Watchmen film? Share your thoughts with us at GVNation.
