In this movie, Elba will play a convicted murderer released from prison. Once released, he becomes a target of a gang that is led by the son of the man that Elba’s character killed. Jonathan Mayors will be in the movie as Nat Love, who reunites with his gang to track down Elba. Samuel is also known as The Bullitts and is produced by Jay-Z. Samuel and Jay-Z previously collaborated together and served as musical consultants to Baz Luhrmann’s soundtrack for ‘The Great Gatsby’. Variety reports that ‘The Harder They Fall’ will have a musical element much as ‘Gatsby’ did.
There is no release date yet for ‘The Harder They Fall’.
