[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”28054″ img_size=”590×350″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]This just in to the GVN Newroom: Dead Comicbook Characters have been known to come back to life. While you try to overcome your massive shock at that revelation, it is apparent that Idris Elba is also aware of that possibility. Elba was recently asked on ABC Radio if he would be open to play the role of Heimdall again.
Needless to say Heimdall met his unfortunate demise at the hands of Thanos. Just because he had the audacity to send Bruce/Hulk back to Earth during Avengers Infinity War. Be that as it may, Elba wouldn’t mind again playing the all-seeing Asgardian.
Of course,” he said of his desire to come back. Listen, Heimdall is essentially part of the god family. So you know, he essentially could be alive. I’m just saying! I’m just putting it out there. The Heimdall character goes way back into, you know, the Thor mythology, And I’m sure there will be an interesting way to bring that alive. Of course I would. Yes.
Now that Marvel knows Idris is onboard, there are ways of accomplishing this. Number one being the Disney+ Loki series. Since we are talking about alternate realities, it would be easy enough to explain Heimdall’s resurrection. There is also the impending Thor: Love and Thunder. Let’s face it, comic creators don’t need much of an excuse. It is in their purview to bring a beloved character back from the great beyond or Valhalla or wherever Heimdall went upon his death. Never let a minor thing like death get in the way for a great story.
