The show then sent fans into a bit of a panic when it seemed that production hadn’t begun for the series since it was revealed that IDW didn’t have the proper funds to start filming. Considering this was around the time that other series on other platforms were being canceled (i.e. Marvel Netflix shows), a #FightforWynonna hashtag has been circulating the internet.
Now, IDW has released a statement trying to assure fans that season four is still happening:
“Hey #Earpers! Just a quick update! As you know, we love Wynonna just as much as everyone else, & have appreciated all of your support,” IDW said on Twitter. “Everyone involved with this show is working behind the scenes to bring back another season. We’ll keep you updated when we have more to share.”
