Late last year it was announced that Apple had won a bidding war for a new series from Seth Rogen that would focus on a legacy Hollywood movie studio trying to survive in a world where it’s hard for art and commerce to coexist.
The series which is titled ‘STUDIO’ is from Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory. Seth Rogen who will star in the series also wrote and will direct episodes alongside Evan Goldberg.
We have learned that actor Ike Barinholtz is in talks to join the series and re-unite with Seth. The two actors have worked together before having both starred in ‘Neighbors‘ and the sequel ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’.
Reps for Ike Barinholtz could not be reached for comment.
Lionsgate is the studio behind the new series with Rogen and Goldberg’s Point Grey set to produce. There are not other details for the series currently but it is in active development.
