Emma Watson is best known for her role as Hermoine in the Harry Potter films. Watson is a young actress who always brings a sense of poise to her roles. Which, is why she definitely felt out of place in Seth Rogen’s dark comedy, This Is The End. Which, was sort of the point, considering the entire movie felt like a horrific fever dream.
For years, there’s been rumors that Watson “walked off set” and now, Rogen has come in to confirm that this is true:
“I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, ‘How dare she do that?’ You know? I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was. But it was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with how the film turned out in the end.”
The scene that made Emma walk of set involved Danny McBride and Channing Tatum. McBride has Tatum on a leash which can be seen in the video below
Rogen would go on to say
“She was probably right. It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it.”
So, we can actually say this rumor is true. But, it’s nice to hear Rogen talk about it – makes it feel less extreme as the rumors have made it seem for years. What do you think of this and did you enjoy This Is the End?
