You’ve seen the trailers for IT: Chapter Two. It’s going to be a great movie-going experience. Will it be a great IMAX experience though? If you aren’t convinced, take a look at the exclusive IMAX teaser that was released!
The IT remake came out in 2017, starring Bill Skarsgard; and made over $700 million worldwide. There’s no doubt that the second movie will most likely reflect that number, if not transcend it. Not only do we have the children actors returning, but we have a whole ensemble of well-known adult actors coming in. The film will take place 27 years after the first one, where the Losers Club revisit Derry, Maine to put a stop to Pennywise, once and for all.
Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean step into their roles for the first time in IT: Chapter Two. Reprising their roles are Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Skarsgard is obviously reprising his role as Pennywise the dancing clown.
IT: Chapter Two hits theaters and IMAX on September 6, 2019.
