‘IT CHAPTER 2’: Andy Muschietti Says Author Stephen King Asked For A New Scene To Be Added To Film

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”21713″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It Chapter One was a run away smash hit, grossing over $700 million, that had fans begging for more. There were even talks of a directors cut coming for the first film but I am not sure when or if we will ever see that. #ReleaseTheMuschiettiCut – For It Chapter Two it seems writer Stephen King had a request that director Andy Muschietti could not ignore.  According to Total Film, Stephen reached out to Andy after seeing the first film and requested “one all-new scene.” They of course do not say what that new scene is but I am sure fans of the novel and the original television movie will be able to point it out no problems.

It Chapter Two is set to arrive in theaters on September 6

Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Derry, the evil clown Pennywise returns 27 years later to torment the grown-up members of the Losers’ Club, who have long since drifted apart from one another[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhJ5P7Up3jA” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
