Indiana Jones 5 Will Take Harrison Ford Around the World

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7499″ img_size=”825×464″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The adventure of Indiana Jones continues and it seems like Indy is going on a full global trek, according to producer Frank Marshall. While previous films have been shot almost entirely in the United States, it seems like the film will branch out, which will make for an even more exciting time. Famous director Steven Spielberg will be director of the film, which Harrison Ford is confirmed to be involved in.

In regards to this installment not having George Lucas involved, the first of its kind, Marshall commented:

“I love being with George and having his input, but life changes and we’re moving on. He moved on. We’re very respectful of the original intentions of the movie, certainly Harrison’s character. The serialization of what the original intention was. I’d love to have George there. I love being around George and working with him, obviously. It’ll be a little different, because the ideas are coming from a different place now.”

The plot details for the movie remain a mystery and it is confirmed via Disney’s CEO Bob Iger that Indiana Jones will not attempt to expand the brand like Star Wars had. We also are unsure if there will be a reboot or if Chris Pratt will actually take up the mantle, like he had previously been eyed for. As we find out more, we will let you know.

Indiana Jones 5 is expected to hit theaters July 9, 2021.
