‘Iron Fist’ Showrunner Signs Deal With ABC Studios

While Netflix decided to pull the plug on a number of their Marvel series, it hasn’t precluded those involved in the show’s creative process to obtain other work. Such is the case for M. Raven Metzner, who was the Season 2 showrunner for Netflix’s Iron Fist. Metzner has inked a two year deal with ABC Studios to develop shows for them for broadcast, cable and for Disney+. According to Deadline, he already has begun to work on two series for the forthcoming Disney+ Streaming platform.

This will not be Metzner’s first Rodeo with ABC as he has worked previously on shows like What About Brian, and Six Degrees. His portfolio also includes The CW’s Life Is Wild, The Hub’s Clue, TNT’s Falling Skies, Fox’s Sleepy Hollow and NBC’s Heroes Reborn. So while the end of Iron Fist was a disappointment, life goes on and apparently so does M. Raven Metzner. After seeing his work on Iron Fist, do you look forward to seeing what he comes up for ABC/Disney? Share your thoughts here at GVNation.
