Is Avengers: Endgame The Last Time Chris Hemsworth Will Play Thor?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”17949″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]While we have known for a little while that Marvel is planning on retiring some of their longtime characters in order to pave the way for the new generation of Avengers to have a platform to shine, it’s still hard to say goodbye. Chris Evans is hanging up the shield, but is Chris Hemsworth hanging up Stormbreaker? The Australian actor has been playing the God of Thunder since Phase 1 and considering the overwhelmingly positive feedback from his portrayal of Thor in Thor Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War, we assumed that the Asgardian would have new life within the MCU.

According to sources close to We Got The Covered, it seems, though; that Avengers: Endgame will be Hemsworth’s last movie as Thor. There’s a slight chance he may pop up back again in Phase 5, but as of right now, it doesn’t seem like we’re getting another solo movie. This seems even more likely considering the recent Endgame trailer, which showed old black and white footage from previous movies for Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man – essentially signaling the end for the MCU’s most popular characters.

Do you think this is the last we’ll see of Hemsworth as Thor? Let us know.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
