When is Henry Cavill going to return as the Man of Steel? Well he will be returning this March for Zack Snyder’s Justice League but fans want to see Henry make his triumphant return in a new capacity. As a fan of Henry and his Superman, I NEED ANOTHER SOLO FILM!! But alas I will take what I can get. A new report from That Hashtag Show claims Henry WILL be coming back as Superman in Shazam: Fury of the Gods. Could it be true? I hope so but the drama surrounding Henry coming as Superman has been ongoing since Justice League arrived in 2017 and then there were reports Henry was going to make a cameo in Shazam and that did not happen. Whether over contract disputes or his filming schedule with The Witcher, it never came to be and instead we got this… this disappointing scene
That Hashtag Show seems pretty confident based on new casting information that Henry Cavill is indeed attached in some form. Is this a one off cameo or is the door opening for Henry to come back full time as Superman that fans all over the world are hoping and praying for? I think it is good to get excited about this news but we have been let down before so lets all take it with a grain of salt and wait for confirmation. I trust our friends over at THS but lots of things can happen between now and filming. Shazam is one of the best rated DC films and fans are eagerly awaiting the sequel and the upcoming Black Adam film. Adding Henry Cavill’s Superman to the mix just makes this even better.
