[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”17489″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Huge RUMOR so take this with a grain of salt but if its true then OMG!!!

According to We Got This Covered, it seems that a source has revealed that Warner Bros. might be looking to work on a movie based around Doctor Fate. In their article, they state that a story is already in place and that the first half of the movie will be a “period piece”, while the second half is set in modern time. The reasoning for this decision seems to be that the studio wants to focus on the Justice Society of America instead of the Justice League by giving various Golden Age heroes their spotlight back.

Warner Bros. is reportedly looking for an actor in between the ages of thirty and forty to play Doctor Fate. This character has had many versions, but the most well-known is archaeologist Kent Nelson, who derives his powers from the “golden Helmet of Nabu”, which allows whoever wearing it to possess the spirit of an ancient a sorcerer. If the studio decided to go with a person of color, which it’s reported that they may do; they could also go with Khalid Nassour, who was an Egyptian/American medical student from 2015.

Would you be interested in a Doctor Fate movie? And what other Golden Age heroes would you like to see on screen?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
