James Cameron, who is involved as an executive producer for the Tim Miller helmed film; revealed the title as Terminator: Dark Fate. Dark Fate will jump back to Cameron’s 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which will erase those films that were in between.
Although Cameron is involved, he made it very clear that Miller is running the show:
“Tim’s a very willful and opinionated director, and he’s got his own ideas for the film. I’m kind of like the Pips — he’s Gladys.”
With a title like “Dark Fate” we can assume there are dark times ahead for Sarah Conners. We’ll find out on November 1st when the Terminator film hits theaters.
