When we began 2018, no one probably thought that we would see Disney fire one of its most prominent directors. Alas, James Gunn has been removed from the MCU and his third Guardians of the Galaxy movie is in limbo.
If I had somehow talked to two separate people, who somehow read James Gunn’s Guardians 3 script, and both told me that it made them cry, I probably wouldn’t be able to say any more.

Gunn had previously written a script for the third installment, which now is gaining traction as it seems there have been a select few who have read the script and it reportedly moved them to tears. Peter Sciretta from Slash Film took to Twitter to let fans know that of the two people who read the script that both told him that it made them cry. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 had some tearful moments with the death of Yondu and a few other small moments, so I can only imagine what was within Volume 3 that had people crying.
If GotG Vol 3 ever is made, we’ll be sure to let you know! In the meantime, James Gunn has been brought on to work for DC for the Suicide Squad sequel. How about that?
